Job Summary
Operate a Class A commercial vehicle over long distances transporting general freight, including spot loads and live animals. Plan efficient routes to meet delivery schedules while conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Maintain accurate logs, comply with DOT regulations, and coordinate with dispatch regarding loads and delays. Ensure cargo security and manage time effectively during extended trips. Schedule consists of four weeks on the road followed by one week home. Drivers reside in Florida, Southeast states, Texas, or future Denver markets.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A
- Minimum 2+ years of experience
- No felonies
- No DUI within the last 3 years
