Job Summary
Operate a Class A commercial vehicle over long distances transporting general freight, including spot loads and live animals. Plan and manage routes efficiently while conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure cargo security and compliance with DOT regulations. Maintain accurate logs and communicate with dispatch regarding loads, delays, and route updates. Manage time effectively during extended trips and coordinate with terminals for truck drop-off and home time transitions.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A
- Minimum 2+ years of experience
- No felonies
- No DUI within the last 3 years
