Job Summary
Safely operate a Class A CDL tractor-trailer hauling refrigerated freight throughout approved operating areas while complying with DOT and FMCSA regulations. Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintain accurate electronic logs, and deliver freight safely and on schedule. Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding trip updates and report equipment concerns promptly. Operate late-model automatic Kenworth or Freightliner tractors to maximize available miles, with a schedule of 2 to 3 weeks out at a time. This position offers 100% no-touch reefer loads with no Northwest routes, ideal for drivers residing east of Iowa seeking consistent high-mileage opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL License
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable Class A CDL driving experience
- No more than 2 moving violations within the past 3 years
- No more than 2 preventable accidents within the past 3 years
- Must reside east of Iowa
- Strong commitment to safety and on-time performance
- Ability to operate automatic transmission tractors
