Job Summary
Safely operate a Class A CDL tractor-trailer hauling 100% no-touch refrigerated freight across approved operating areas while complying with all DOT and FMCSA regulations. Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintain accurate electronic logs, and deliver freight safely and on schedule. Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding trip updates and report equipment concerns promptly. Operate late-model automatic Kenworth or Freightliner tractors to maximize available miles and productivity while representing the company professionally. Drivers typically stay out 2 to 3 weeks at a time, with home time scheduled based on location and operational needs.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL License
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable Class A CDL driving experience
- No more than 2 moving violations within the past 3 years
- No more than 2 preventable accidents within the past 3 years
- Must reside east of Iowa
- Strong commitment to safety and on-time performance
- Ability to operate automatic transmission tractors
