Job Summary
Delivery Driver responsible for transporting lumber, building materials, hardware, and supplies to customers' homes, job sites, or businesses. Drive company vehicle, verify orders, obtain customer signatures, maintain delivery paperwork, load/unload, assist in yard/warehouse, and provide courteous customer service while adhering to safety standards and SOPs. Role includes routine safety checks and participation in store meetings and training.
Required Qualifications
- CDL A or B license required
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently
- Ability to perform basic math (units of measure)
- Ability to safely operate commercial motor vehicle per FMCSR
- Must meet driver eligibility guidelines
- Forklift certification required upon training
- Physical qualifications to drive CMV
