Job Summary
CDL Operator (Class A) drives and operates company trucks for industrial waste pickup, hauling, and unloading within oil/gas refineries or over the road. Responsibilities include vehicle inspections, maintaining logs to comply with DOT regulations, coordinating with dispatchers and clients, operating vacuum truck equipment, tank cleaning, waste transport, and ensuring safety, reliability, and on-time deliveries. Requires knowledge of DOT rules, proper PPE, and ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders; role is safety sensitive and involves manual labor and potential exposure to hazardous materials. Preferred skills include experience with ELDs/GPS and basic mechanical ability.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or CDL Class B driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating commercial vehicles.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance requirements.
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
- Physical ability to perform vehicle inspections and handle cargo loading/unloading.
- Proven experience operating heavy machinery or commercial vehicles in an industrial setting.
