Job Summary
Operate a Class A oil-hauler truck with emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include performing pre- and post-trip inspections, understanding and following supervisor directions, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, monitoring vehicle performance, and reporting issues to Fleet Manager. Utilize GPS/maps for daily routes, ensure adherence to DOT laws, and follow Standard Operating Procedures. Demonstrate knowledge of truck operation, equipment controls, and driver log regulations; promote a culture of safety and security for self and others. Physical demands include extensive manual tasks and potential lifting up to 100 pounds. Job requires valid CDL A with endorsements, Hazmat/Tanker endorsements, and a current medical card; high school diploma or equivalent; and travel to various locations as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A with required endorsements
- Minimum of High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
- Minimum 21 years of age
- 2 year driving experience preferred
- Clean driving record
- Must be able to travel to various locations to perform work, based on operational need.
