Job Summary
CDL-A Mobile Lab Driver needed for a family-oriented company in Michigan. You will operate tractor-trailer equipment to transport and demonstrate medical equipment, set up equipment at designated areas, maintain daily logs and trip reports, perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections, and deliver white-glove service. The role involves being out on the road 46-47 weeks per year with routes across all 48 states and parts of Canada. Requirements include a CDL-A, at least 2 years of tractor-trailer experience in the past 7 years, ability to operate a manual transmission, clean driving record, ability to pass DOT background/drug screens and DOT physical, and must be registered in the National Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse with a clear record. Strong customer service and communications skills are essential, along with mechanical aptitude for handling and positioning equipment. Compensation is $31.75 per hour with quarterly safety bonus, weekly pay, layover pay, and comprehensive benefits. The position is based in Decatur, Michigan, with on-site work as described.
Required Qualifications
- CDL-A required
- Minimum 2 years of tractor-trailer driving experience within the past 7 years
- Ability to operate a manual transmission
- Clean driving record
- Pass background check, DOT drug screen, and DOT physical
- Must be registered in the National Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse with a clear record
- Prior delivery experience: White glove delivery service strongly preferred but is NOT required
- Strong, excellent customer service and communications skills
- Mechanically inclined; ability to set up medical equipment for demonstration and move equipment
- Perform other reasonable requests as directed by management
- Employment verifications will be completed to verify driver experience and driving history
