Job Summary
CDL-A Mobile Lab Driver responsible for operating tractor-trailer equipment to transport and set up medical demonstration equipment, performing pre-trip/post-trip inspections, maintaining logs, and delivering white-glove service. Requires CDL-A, minimum 2 years of tractor-trailer experience within 7 years, ability to operate manual transmission, clean driving record, and successful DOT/clearance checks. Role involves extensive travel (47 weeks/year) across the US and parts of Canada, with on-road duties and hands-on equipment setup. Compensation includes $31.75/hour, quarterly safety bonus, weekly pay, layover pay, and comprehensive health and retirement benefits. Location: Burr Oak, Michigan, USA.
Required Qualifications
- CDL-A license
- Minimum 2 years tractor-trailer driving experience within the past 7 years
- Ability to operate a manual transmission
- Clean driving record
- Pass background check, DOT drug screen, and DOT physical
- Must be registered in the National Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse with a clear record
- Strong customer service and communications skills
- Mechanically inclined; able to set up medical equipment for demonstration and move equipment
- Perform other reasonable requests as directed by management
- Operate tractor/trailer in accordance with all DOT and OSHA regulations
- Maintain driver daily logs and trip reports
- Pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Deliver White Glove Service
- Extensive road travel (46-47 weeks/year); routes across all 48 states and parts of Canada
