Job Summary
Operates tractor/trailer to transport with DOT/OSHA compliance, performs pre/post trips, maintains logs, and delivers white-glove medical equipment with on-site setup. Requires CDL-A and at least 2 years of tractor-trailer experience, ability to operate a manual transmission, clean driving record, DOT background checks, and strong customer service and communications skills. The role involves mechanical aptitude to set up medical equipment for demonstrations and travels 46-47 weeks per year across the United States and parts of Canada while ensuring on-time arrivals and secure transport of trailers and contents.
Required Qualifications
- CDL-A required
- Minimum 2 years of tractor-trailer driving experience within the past 7 years
- Ability to operate a manual transmission
- Clean driving record
- Must pass background check, DOT drug screen, and DOT physical
- Must be registered in the National Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse with a clear record
- Prior delivery experience: White glove delivery service strongly preferred but is NOT required
- Strong, excellent customer service and communications skills
- The successful candidate will be mechanically inclined: this position sets up medical equipment for demonstration so driver must be able to push, pull, and remove equipment from racks and position equipment in designated areas
- Perform other reasonable requests as directed by management
- Operates tractor/trailer equipment in accordance with all DOT and OSHA regulations
- Maintain driver daily logs, trip reports, and other documents as required
- Performs full pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Communicates any issues and/or damage to tractor, trailer, or product to management immediately
- Drivers will arrive on time and set trailer up for each session; stay with the trailer during the session to aid and maintain the equipment
- Deliver White Glove Service
- Routes may include: All 48 states and parts of Canada
