Job Summary
Operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport freight locally on regional lanes, perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, load and secure cargo (including hazmat or temperature-sensitive freight), maintain DOT/FMCSA logs and documentation, verify bills of lading, plan routes to meet pickup/delivery windows, and handle basic vehicle maintenance; strong emphasis on safety, reliability, time management, and professional communication with dispatch and customers; HazMat endorsement preferred but not required; must meet DOT/FMCSA physical requirements and have a HS diploma or GED.
