Job Summary
Operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport freight, general commodities, and specialized cargo on regional lanes with home daily opportunities. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; load, secure, and inspect cargo (hazmat or temperature-sensitive freight); maintain accurate HOS logs and DOT/FMCSA paperwork; verify bills of lading and collect signatures; plan routes to meet pickup/delivery windows; perform basic vehicle maintenance and keep equipment clean. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k), paid vacation (1 week after 6 months, more with tenure), holidays, HazMat certification costs covered, and steady weekly pay (local routes with $1,300–$1,600 per week). Requirements include valid Class A CDL, High School Diploma or GED, and DOT/FMCSA physicals; HazMat endorsement preferred but not required; TWIC card preferred but not required.
