Job Summary
Operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport freight including general commodities and hazmat/temperature-sensitive cargo on local routes with home daily time. Responsibilities include performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, loading and securing cargo, maintaining DOT/FMCSA logs and documentation, verifying bills of lading, planning routes to meet pickup/delivery windows, and basic vehicle maintenance. Ideal candidates are reliable, safety-conscious, effective communicators, and team players who can coordinate with dispatch and customers.
