Job Summary
Operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport general commodities and specialized freight on local/regional routes. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; load, secure, and inspect cargo (hazmat or temperature-sensitive freight); maintain accurate DOT/FMCSA logs; verify bills of lading and collect signatures; plan routes to meet pickup/delivery windows; perform basic vehicle maintenance; maintain compliance with safety procedures. Requires valid Class A CDL with HazMat endorsement preferred, High School Diploma or GED, and ability to meet DOT/FMCSA physical requirements. Team-oriented, reliable, and safety-conscious with clear communication to customers and dispatch; TWIC card preferred not required.
