Job Summary
Deliver freight from the Walmart Distribution Center in Shafter, CA to stores throughout Southern California on 100% no-touch loads, averaging 2-3 stops per load. Return backhaul loads to the distribution center driving late-model automatic tractors with dry van and reer trailers. Work weekends with home daily, typically 2 consecutive days off every week, and most loads departing between 3:00 PM and 9:00 PM. Requires a valid Class A CDL with only 3 months of recent tractor-trailer experience.
