Job Summary
Operate a Class A tractor-trailer safely and legally across Pennsylvania, New York (Staten Island), and New Jersey, completing pre- and post-trip inspections and monitoring hours of service. Transport freight on schedule, loading and unloading trailers with pallet jacks while lifting 75 lbs, and communicate proactively with your fleet manager regarding weather, traffic, or customer delays. Maintain equipment cleanliness, report mechanical issues promptly, and represent the client professionally at every stop. This home-daily position requires a valid CDL-A with 3 months of experience, a clean safety record, and reliable transportation, with shifts running seven days a week from 18:00 to 01:00. Average weekly earnings are $1,792, including mileage and availability pay.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
- Minimum of 3 months of verifiable CDL-A driving experience
- Meeting all Department of Transportation qualification requirements
- Holding a current DOT medical certification
- Acceptable motor vehicle record and safety history
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Compliance with all federal testing requirements throughout employment
- Physical capability to perform freight handling including repeated lifting, climbing in and out of the trailer, and sustained activity across a full shift
- Ability to pull 75 lbs
- Reasonable level of physical fitness
- Willingness to stay active through the shift
