Job Summary
Drive a CDL A truck on local US mail routes in Hurricane, WV, delivering mail daily from Tuesday to Sunday between 01:30 and 10:00. Perform physical tasks including lifting 50lbs overhead, climbing trucks with three steps, coupling trailers on catwalks, and maneuvering carts weighing over 100lbs. Inspect trailer pin lock connections and crank landing gear handles while driving for minimum four-hour shifts. Maintain a clean MVR/PSP and pass a criminal background check. Work full-time with up to 40 hours per week. EVO Services Group, LLC offers dental, medical, and vision insurance, paid time off, and 11 paid holidays.
Required Qualifications
- 1-year CDL A experience
- valid CDL A license
- relevant experience
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
- Must have a clean MVR/PSP
- Must be able to lift 50lbs over their head
- Must be able to climb in and out of a truck with three steps pulling their own weight using three points of contact
- Must be able to physically board the catwalk behind the cab and remain stable while coupling their trailer to the cab
- Must be able to push and pull carts on wheels weighing over 100lbs
- Must be able to bend over while pulling a fifth-wheel lock-release
- Must be able to crank landing gear handles using arms, legs, and back
- Must be able to bend over and maneuver under a trailer to visibly inspect the trailer pin lock connection to the power unit fifth-wheel
- Must be able to drive/sit in a truck for a minimum of 4 hours at a time without a break
