Job Summary
Plan trips, manage breaks and fuel stops, and safely load/unload product according to company and customer instructions while operating semi trucks, tank trailers, or flat beds. Follow all government, company, and customer policies including FMCSA, OSHA, EPA, and DOL regulations. Obtain a HazMat endorsement within 60 days of hire. Work weekends, nights, and holidays to make timely deliveries with fluctuating weekly mileage. Complete a DOT pre-employment drug screen, physical, background check, and functionality testing. Uniforms are supplied.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with no restrictions
- Tanker endorsement
- Haz Mat endorsement (required within 60 days of hire)
- 1 year of verifiable OTR or Local experience within the previous 7 years
- Must be able to obtain Hazardous Materials endorsement within 90 days
- 21 years of age
- Must successfully complete a DOT pre-employment drug screen
- Must successfully complete a DOT physical
- Must successfully complete a background check
- Must successfully complete functionality testing
- No more than 1 chargeable accident within the last 3 years
- No more than 3 jobs in the last 3 years
- No more than 1 moving violation in the last three years
- Must be available for weekends, nights, and holidays
- Must be able to plan trips (breaks, fuel stops, customer appointments, weather, traffic & construction, city and rural driving conditions) and manage unforeseen circumstances
- Must be able to safely and efficiently load and unload product according to company and customer instructions
- Must be able to follow all government, company & customer policies and regulations (FMCSA, OSHA, EPA, and DOL)
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year of verifiable OTR or Local experience within the previous 7 years
