Job Summary
Drive intermodal container freight between rail ramps and customer locations in the Inland Empire and Los Angeles area, hauling approximately 3–6 loads per day. Operate tractor-trailers on night shifts with a home-daily schedule, performing live load/unload, preloaded trailer, and drop-and-hook moves. Travel around 1,500 miles weekly across cities including San Bernardino, Fontana, and Long Beach, while executing shuttle or slip-seat operations where needed. Maintain a Class A CDL with a Hazmat endorsement and at least six months of recent tractor-trailer experience.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 6 months of recent tractor-trailer experience
- Must live within approximately 25 miles of ZIP code 92407
- Hazmat endorsement required
- Must be comfortable operating intermodal containers secured on chassis
- Must meet applicable DOT qualification requirements
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Weekend work is required
