Job Summary
Operate a dedicated intermodal fleet handling 100% no-touch freight across a 150-mile metro radius, executing common loops to regional hubs and other yards. Manage slip-seat operations on clean daycabs with containers mounted directly onto bare chassis, accounting for occasional 30 to 60-minute ramp waits for flips. Drive night shifts from 7 to 9 pm start times, working Sunday through Thursday or Tuesday through Saturday with weekend work standard. Maintain a solid driving record and clean work history while residing within 25 miles of the dispatch yard, adhering to a weekly average of 55 to 70 hours.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- Current DOT Medical Card
- Reside within 25 miles of the dispatch yard
- Minimum 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience
- Solid driving record
- Clean work history
- Availability for mandatory drug screening
