Job Summary
Transport and deliver appliances, cabinets, windows, doors, and electronic equipment to client locations, internal warehouses, and designated destinations. Operate truck or trailer units safely while securing loads, verifying counts, and ensuring compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations. Report real-time status to dispatch, complete daily maintenance and driver logs, and maintain accurate customer documentation. Handle heavy lifting and navigate varied weather conditions while upholding high safety standards and courteous customer relations. Maintain a clean driving record and drug-free status. Assist in training new employees and perform other assigned warehouse or delivery tasks as necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to read, write, comprehend and speak English.
- Heavy lifting required (75+ lbs assisted).
- Must be able to navigate in various weather conditions.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime with little notice, and overnight runs as necessary.
- Must successfully complete a criminal background investigation and drug screen.
- Must maintain a clean MVR, criminal record and remain drug free.
- Must have a current/unexpired REAL ID compliant Class A driver's license (no restrictions).
- Must have a current medical certificate, or the ability to obtain one.
- High school diploma or its equivalent.
- 1 year of Commercial tractor/trailer driving experience required.
