Job Summary
Transport freight between service centers and customers by loading, unloading, and maintaining a claims-free operation. Perform pre and post trip inspections on the tractor and trailer, properly document freight control processes, and affix correct placards when necessary. Safely operate a forklift for product loading and unloading, assist customers with shipping papers, and maintain vehicle cleanliness. Read maps, road signs, and hazardous materials markings while adhering to the Driver/Dockworker Manual. Be available for irregular work schedules, alternating shifts, and assignments. Maintain a valid Class A CDL with Hazardous Materials and Tank Endorsements, a DOT physical, and less than two moving violations in the past three years.
Required Qualifications
- At least 23 years of age
- At least 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Valid Class A CDL with Hazardous Materials and Tank Endorsement
- Valid DOT Physical/Medical Card
- No DUI, Citation/Conviction for Reckless Operations in the past 3 years
- Less than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years
- Basic math skills
- Fluent in English
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Able to pass a drug screen
