Job Summary
Transport freight, load, and unload between service centers and customers while performing pre and post trip inspections on the tractor and trailer. Properly document freight control processes, read shipping papers, affix correct placards, and maintain vehicle cleanliness. Safely operate a forklift to load and unload products when indicated and assist customers with shipping paper preparation. Interact with internal and external customers while adhering to operational procedures in the Driver/Dockworker Manual. Be available for irregular work schedules, alternating shifts, and assignments. Maintain a clean, productive, and claims-free environment using new equipment in a friendly culture.
Required Qualifications
- At least 23 years of age
- At least 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Valid Class A CDL with Hazardous Materials and Tank Endorsement
- Valid DOT Physical/Medical Card
- No DUI, Citation/Conviction for Reckless Operations in the past 3 years
- Less than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years
- Basic math skills
- Fluent in English
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Able to pass a drug screen
