Job Summary
Transport freight safely between Service Centers and customers while loading, unloading, and maintaining vehicle cleanliness. Perform pre and post trip inspections, document freight control processes, and operate a forklift when indicated. Read shipping papers, hazardous materials markings, and road signs; affix correct placards and assist customers with documentation. Adhere to operational guidelines and participate in training programs. Be available for irregular shifts and alternating schedules. Requires a valid Class A CDL with Hazardous Materials and Tank Endorsements, two years of commercial driving experience, and a clean driving record.
Required Qualifications
- At least 23 years of age
- At least 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Valid Class A CDL with Hazardous Materials and Tank Endorsement
- Valid DOT Physical/Medical Card
- No DUI, Citation/Conviction for Reckless Operations in the past 3 years
- Less than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years
- Basic math skills
- Fluent in English
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Able to pass a drug screen
- Must be available for irregular work schedules, alternating work shifts and/or assignments
