Job Summary
Transport freight between service centers and customers by loading, unloading, and driving a tractor-trailer while performing pre and post trip inspections. Safely operate a forklift for product movement, maintain vehicle cleanliness, and affix correct placards based on hazardous materials markings. Document all freight control processes, read shipping papers and road signs, and assist customers with paperwork. Participate in training programs and adhere to operational guidelines within the Driver/Dockworker Manual. Be available for irregular work schedules and alternating shifts. Requires at least two years of commercial driving experience and a valid Class A CDL with Hazardous Materials and Tank Endorsements.
Required Qualifications
- At least 23 years of age
- At least 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Valid Class A CDL with Hazardous Materials and Tank Endorsement
- Valid DOT Physical/Medical Card
- No DUI, Citation/Conviction for Reckless Operations in the past 3 years
- Less than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years
- Basic math skills
- Fluent in English
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Able to pass a drug screen
