Job Summary
Transport freight between service centers and customers by loading, unloading, and operating a tractor-trailer while performing pre and post trip inspections. Properly document freight control processes, read shipping papers, affix correct placards, and maintain vehicle cleanliness. Safely operate a forklift to load and unload products when indicated and assist customers with shipping paper preparation. Adhere to operational procedures in the Driver/Dockworker Manual and participate in training programs. Be available for irregular work schedules and alternating shifts. Maintain a valid Class A CDL with Hazardous Materials and Tank Endorsements, a DOT physical, and a clean driving record.
Required Qualifications
- At least 23 years of age
- At least 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Valid Class A CDL with Hazardous Materials and Tank Endorsement
- Valid DOT Physical/Medical Card
- No DUI, Citation/Conviction for Reckless Operations in the past 3 years
- Less than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years
- Basic math skills
- Fluent in English
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Able to pass a drug screen
