Job Summary
Transport freight safely between service centers and customers by loading, unloading, and maintaining vehicle cleanliness. Perform pre and post trip inspections on the tractor and trailer, properly document freight control processes, and read maps, road signs, shipping papers, and hazardous materials markings. Affix correct placards when necessary, assist customers with shipping papers, and safely operate a forklift for product movement. Adhere to operational procedures in the Driver/Dockworker Manual and participate in training programs. Be available for irregular work schedules and alternating shifts. Requires a valid Class A CDL with Hazardous Materials and Tank Endorsement, DOT physical, and at least two years of commercial driving experience.
Required Qualifications
- At least 23 years of age
- At least 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Valid Class A CDL with Hazardous Materials and Tank Endorsement
- Valid DOT Physical/Medical Card
- No DUI, Citation/Conviction for Reckless Operations in the past 3 years
- Less than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years
- Basic math skills
- Fluent in English
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Able to pass a drug screen
