Job Summary
Transport freight between service centers and customers by loading, unloading, and operating a tractor-trailer while performing pre and post trip inspections. Safely operate a forklift for product movement, maintain vehicle cleanliness, and properly document all freight control processes. Read shipping papers, hazardous materials markings, and road signs; affix correct placards and assist customers with document preparation. Adhere to operational procedures in the Driver/Dockworker Manual, participate in training programs, and interact with internal and external stakeholders. Be available for irregular shifts and alternating schedules. Requires a valid Class A CDL with Hazardous Materials and Tank Endorsements, two years of commercial driving experience, and a clean driving record.
Required Qualifications
- At least 23 years of age
- At least 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Valid Class A CDL with Hazardous Materials and Tank Endorsement
- Valid DOT Physical/Medical Card
- No DUI, Citation/Conviction for Reckless Operations in the past 3 years
- Less than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years
- Basic math skills
- Fluent in English
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Able to pass a drug screen
