Job Summary
Safely transport steel building materials to customer job sites using sleeper trucks and hotshot trucks. Operate vehicles as assigned while performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain equipment standards. Assist with loading and unloading materials, and maintain DOT paperwork and delivery records. Follow all company safety policies and DOT regulations, providing professional customer service and representing Cowell Steel Structures. This full-time role requires a valid Class A CDL with Air Brake Endorsement, minimum one year of Class A experience, and sleeper and flatbed hauling expertise. Home most nights with health, dental, and vision insurance included.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with Air Brake Endorsement
- Minimum 1 year Class A driving experience
- Sleeper truck experience
- Flatbed hauling experience
- Clean driving record
- Must be at least 25 years old
- Strong work ethic
- Positive attitude
- Ability to work independently
- Good communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Must pass DOT physical
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to load/unload materials
- Must be able to work outdoors
