Job Summary
CDL-A Local Driver at R-2 Contractors in Arizona. Transport heavy construction equipment and materials to project sites within Arizona using CDL-class vehicles (including lowboys, dump trucks, flatbeds). Perform pre/post-trip inspections, secure loads per DOT regulations, and assist field crews as needed. Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and follow company safety procedures. Full-time with home daily; benefits include family medical/dental/vision, 401(k) match, PTO, and a $25K 5-year employment bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL is required
- Experience hauling and securing heavy construction equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or similar material-handling equipment (preferred)
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with project teams
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check
