Job Summary
Local CDL A Delivery Truck Driver to safely and efficiently operate a tractor-trailer and manually unload/deliver various products (meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods, supplies, etc.) to customer locations on an assigned route schedule. Build relationships with each customer using a positive, friendly attitude and become familiar with their operations to meet needs and expectations. Daily routes are common and drivers are home nightly. Overtime, weekends, and holidays may be required. Benefits include comprehensive healthcare, retirement plans, and career-growth opportunities. Must be 21+ with a valid CDL-A and English proficiency for communication and records. Touch freight responsibilities involve lifting up to 100 pounds as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 21+ years of age
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL)
- read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the general public
- be able to respond to official inquiries and make entries on reports and records
- touch freight – ability to lift/move 40-60 pounds up to 100 pounds repeatedly
