Job Summary
Local CDL A Delivery Truck Driver to safely operate a tractor-trailer and manually unload/deliver various products (meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods, supplies) to customer locations on an assigned route. Build relationships with customers using a positive, friendly attitude and become familiar with their operations to meet needs and expectations. Most drivers are home nightly; generous benefits and opportunities for growth through internal promotion.
Required Qualifications
- 21+ years of age
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL)
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the general public and understand highway signs and signals
- Ability to move/lift 40-60 pounds repeatedly and up to 100 pounds
- Flexibility for overtime, weekends and holidays as required
- Touch freight and manual unloading
- 1 year customer delivery experience preferred
- 6 months hand cart/hand truck experience preferred
- 6 months Food and Beverage experience preferred
- 2 years consistent work history preferred
