Job Summary
Sysco has immediate openings for dependable local CDL A Delivery Truck Driver to safely operate a tractor-trailer and unload/deliver various products (meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods, supplies) to customer locations on an assigned route. Build relationships with each customer using a positive, friendly attitude and become familiar with their operations to meet needs and expectations. Most drivers are home nightly; benefits include comprehensive healthcare, vacation/holidays, retirement benefits, and opportunities for career growth. Qualified candidates must be 21+, pass background and drug screening, possess a valid CDL A with a clean driving record, and be able to read/write/speak English; physical ability to lift/move up to 100 pounds; overtime, including weekends and holidays, as required. Preferred experience includes 1 year customer delivery, 6 months hand cart experience, 6 months food/beverage experience, and 2 years of consistent work history. Required Qualifications
- Minimum Requirements 21+ years of age
- Must submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen
- License to drive - valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Touch freight – may need to lift, push or move product weighing an average of 40-60 pounds and as much as 100 pounds repeatedly
