Operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport powdered cement and specialized cargo on local routes, performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections and reporting defects immediately. Load, secure, and inspect cargo while following hazmat procedures, then maintain accurate HOS logs and verify bills of lading. Plan routes to meet pickup and delivery windows, perform basic vehicle maintenance, and assist with unloading. Earn $1,300–$1,600 weekly with 25% line-haul pay increasing to 28% after 90 days, plus detention, stop, and breakdown pay.
