Job Summary
Operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport powdered cement and specialized cargo on local routes with daily home time. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, load and secure cargo, and maintain accurate HOS logs and DOT documentation. Plan routes to meet pickup and delivery windows while verifying bills of lading and collecting signatures. Assist with unloading, perform basic vehicle maintenance, and ensure all paperwork is complete. Earn weekly compensation ranging from $1,300 to $1,600 with additional pay for detention, short haul loads, and trailer spotting.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- Must pass and maintain all DOT/FMCSA physical requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
