CDL A Local and Regional Pneumatic Tank Drivers

Operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport powdered cement and specialized cargo on local routes, performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections and reporting defects promptly. Load, secure, and inspect cargo while following special handling procedures for hazmat or temperature-sensitive freight, and maintain accurate HOS logs and DOT documentation. Plan routes and schedules to meet pickup and delivery windows, verify bills of lading, and collect signatures. Perform basic vehicle maintenance including fluids and minor repairs, and keep the trailer clean. Home daily with an average weekly pay of $1,300–$1,600, plus additional stop, detention, and breakdown pay. Requires a valid Class A CDL and ability to pass DOT/FMCSA physicals.
