Job Summary
Operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport powdered cement and specialized cargo on local routes, performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections while loading, securing, and inspecting cargo. Maintain accurate HOS logs, verify bills of lading, and plan routes to meet pickup and delivery windows. Perform basic vehicle maintenance, keep trailers clean, and assist with unloading. Earn weekly compensation ranging from $1,300 to $1,600 with additional pay for detention, short hauls, and breakdowns. Requires a valid Class A CDL and ability to pass DOT/FMCSA physical requirements.
