Job Summary
Operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport powdered cement and specialized cargo on local routes, performing pre- and post-trip inspections and reporting defects immediately. Load, secure, and inspect cargo while following hazmat and temperature-sensitive handling procedures, then maintain accurate HOS logs and DOT documentation. Plan routes to meet pickup and delivery windows, verify bills of lading, and assist with unloading. Perform basic vehicle maintenance including fluids and minor repairs, keeping the International LT truck clean and operational.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- Must pass and maintain all DOT/FMCSA physical requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
