Job Summary
Operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport powdered cement and specialized cargo on local routes, performing pre- and post-trip inspections and reporting defects immediately. Load, secure, and inspect cargo while following hazmat procedures, maintain accurate HOS logs, and verify bills of lading. Plan routes to meet pickup and delivery windows, perform basic vehicle maintenance, and assist with unloading. Earn weekly compensation ranging from $1,300 to $1,600 with additional pay for detention, short hauls, and breakdowns. Requires a valid Class A CDL and ability to pass DOT/FMCSA physicals.
