CDL A Local and Regional Pneumatic Tank Drivers

Operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport powdered cement and specialized cargo on local routes, performing pre- and post-trip inspections and reporting defects immediately. Load, secure, and inspect cargo while following hazmat procedures, and maintain accurate HOS logs and DOT documentation. Plan routes to meet delivery windows, verify bills of lading, and perform basic vehicle maintenance including fluids and minor repairs. Starting compensation is 25% of line haul, increasing to 28% after 90 days, with additional pay for detention, short haul, and stop fees. All hourly work is paid straight time with weight ticket reimbursements at face value. Drivers receive daily or weekend home time, medical/dental/vision coverage, and a 401(k) plan, with paid vacation accruing after six months.
