Job Summary
Operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport powdered cement, general commodities, and specialized cargo on local routes with daily home time. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, load and secure cargo following hazmat and temperature-sensitive procedures, and maintain accurate HOS logs and DOT documentation. Plan routes to meet pickup and delivery windows while verifying bills of lading and collecting signatures. Assist with unloading and perform basic vehicle maintenance including fluids and minor repairs. Maintain clean trailers and ensure all paperwork is complete. Earn weekly pay ranging from $1,300 to $1,600 with additional stop, detention, and breakdown pay. International LT trucks include a microwave, refrigerator, TV, and APU.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- Must pass and maintain all DOT/FMCSA physical requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
