Job Summary
Operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport powdered cement and specialized cargo on local routes, performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections while loading, securing, and inspecting hazardous materials. Maintain accurate HOS logs, verify bills of lading, and plan routes to meet pickup and delivery windows. Perform basic vehicle maintenance, keep trailers clean, and assist with unloading. Earn weekly pay ranging from $1,300 to $1,600 with additional compensation for detention, short haul loads, and breakdowns. Requires a valid Class A CDL, high school diploma, and DOT/FMCSA physical; HazMat endorsement and TWIC card are preferred. We offer medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and progressive paid vacation.
