Job Summary
Operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport powdered cement and specialized cargo on local routes, performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections and reporting defects promptly. Load, secure, and inspect cargo while following special handling procedures for hazmat or temperature-sensitive freight, and maintain accurate HOS logs and DOT documentation. Plan routes and schedules to meet pickup and delivery windows, verify bills of lading, and perform basic vehicle maintenance. Earn weekly pay ranging from $1,300 to $1,600 with additional stop, detention, and breakdown pay, including holiday pay and weight ticket reimbursements. Enjoy daily or weekend home time, full medical, dental, and vision coverage, and paid vacation accruals.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- Must pass and maintain all DOT/FMCSA physical requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
