Job Summary
Operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport powdered cement and specialized cargo on local routes, performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections while loading, securing, and inspecting hazardous materials. Maintain accurate HOS logs, verify bills of lading, and plan routes to meet pickup and delivery windows. Perform basic vehicle maintenance, keep trailers clean, and assist with unloading. Earn weekly compensation between $1,300 and $1,600 with additional pay for detention, short haul loads, and breakdowns. Requires a valid Class A CDL and DOT/FMCSA physical; offers medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) benefits.
