Job Summary
Operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport powdered cement and specialized cargo on local routes, performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections while loading, securing, and inspecting cargo. Maintain accurate HOS logs, verify bills of lading, and plan routes to meet pickup and delivery windows. Perform basic vehicle maintenance and assist with unloading. Earn weekly compensation between $1,300 and $1,600 with additional pay for detention, short haul loads, and HazMat, starting at 25% of line haul. Requires a valid Class A CDL, high school diploma, and ability to pass DOT/FMCSA physicals. Work includes daily home time and access to fully equipped International LT trucks.
