CDL A Local and Regional Pneumatic Tank Drivers

Operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport powdered cement and specialized cargo on local routes, performing pre- and post-trip inspections and reporting defects immediately. Load, secure, and inspect cargo while adhering to special handling procedures for hazmat or temperature-sensitive freight. Maintain accurate HOS logs, verify bills of lading, and collect signatures to ensure paperwork is complete. Plan routes and schedules to meet pickup and delivery windows, and perform basic vehicle maintenance including fluids and minor repairs. Keep trailers clean and ready for daily home time. This role offers starting compensation of 25% of line haul with a 90-day increase to 28%, plus additional pay for detention, unloading, and breakdowns.
