Operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport powdered cement and specialized cargo on local routes, performing pre- and post-trip inspections and reporting defects immediately. Load, secure, and inspect cargo while following hazmat and temperature-sensitive handling procedures, then maintain accurate HOS logs and DOT documentation. Plan routes to meet pickup and delivery windows, verify bills of lading, and assist with unloading. Perform basic vehicle maintenance and keep trailers clean. Earn $1,300–$1,600 weekly with 25% line-haul pay increasing to 28% after 90 days, plus detention, stop, and breakdown pay.
