Operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport powdered cement and specialized cargo on local routes, performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections while loading, securing, and inspecting cargo. Maintain accurate HOS logs, verify bills of lading, and plan routes to meet pickup and delivery windows. Perform basic vehicle maintenance and assist with unloading, ensuring all DOT/FMCSA documentation is complete. Starting compensation is 25% of line haul, increasing to 28% after 90 days, with additional pay for detention, short haul loads, and breakdowns.
