Job Summary
Transport freight, trailers, and related materials by commercial motor vehicle, delivering and picking up cargo as assigned in a safe, timely manner. Perform complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections for all vehicles and trailers used daily, ensuring driver inspection reports and logs are accurately completed. Report departures and arrivals timely while following all DOT and CFR regulations. Capable of making inside deliveries as directed by the dispatcher and interacting with demanding customers. Requires 2+ years of CDL driving experience, a valid CDL and Medcard, and the ability to lift 75lbs or greater. Must possess a Hazmat & Tanker endorsement or obtain it within 90 days. No major driving infractions within the past 3 years.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of CDL driving experience
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test & physical evaluation
- Must be able to lift 75lbs or greater
- Must possess a valid CDL and Medcard
- Hazmat & Tanker endorsement, or the ability to obtain within the first 90 days of employment
- No major driving infractions within the past 3 years
- Able to interact with demanding customers
- Knowledge of terminal area
- Capable of making inside deliveries as directed by dispatcher
- Proven ability to work positively and effectively in a fast-paced and stressful environment
