Job Summary
Transport freight between service centers by loading, unloading, and driving a tractor/trailer in a productive, safe, and claims-free manner. Perform pre and post trip inspections, affix required placards, and maintain vehicle cleanliness. Operate a forklift to load and unload products when indicated. Interact with internal customers and adhere to operational procedures. Be available for irregular schedules, extended trips, and alternating shifts. Requires a valid Class A CDL with Hazardous Materials and Tank Endorsements, two years of commercial driving experience, and a DOT physical. Mileage rate is $0.84 per mile with an average weekly pay of $2,300.
Required Qualifications
- At least 23 years of age
- At least 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Valid Class A CDL with Hazardous Materials and Tank Endorsement
- Valid DOT Physical/Medical Card
- No DUI, Citation/Conviction for Reckless Operations in the past 3 years
- Less than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years
- Basic math skills
- Fluent in English
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Able to pass a drug screen
